Shear1 is a patented alternative and significantly cheaper testing device that allows for effective measurement of the shear properties of asphalt mixtures. Shear testing reflects the actual use of these mixtures much better than other existing testing methods. The corresponding web application allows automatic calculation of the result, saves test data and sample information, and allows downloading reports.
