Ústav automobilů, spalovacích motorů a kolejových vozidel FS ČVUT
The institute is a prominent workplace for automotive research in the Czech Republic, combining not only the activities of the departments of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague, but also the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Transport of the Czech Technical University. It focuses on innovations in the design of vehicles and drive units with internal combustion engines and electric motors to reduce fossil fuel consumption and emissions, maximize safety, comfort and driving pleasure, adapt to legislative requirements and interaction with infrastructure and other vehicles, and the competitiveness of the Czech automotive industry.
