Railway Research Institute, a.s. (VUZ) is a company specialized in providing professional services and comprehensive solutions in the field of assessment, certification and testing with a focus on railway vehicles, railway systems, rail transport and other industrial sectors.
VUZ provides specialized services in the form of authorized and accredited activities and testing in the field of infrastructure, railway vehicles and their components. In particular, these include interoperability assessment - NoBo / DeBo services, assessment and evaluation of safety services AsBo and ISA, ITRM tests, dynamic component testing, ETCS tests, carbon footprint calculation, ESG, Cybersecurity, Rationalization and others.
Our customers are manufacturers of rolling stock and components for railway systems and rail transport, railway infrastructure owners, railway and rail transport operators, state authorities and institutions, both in the Czech Republic and abroad. The owner is České dráhy, a.s.
